RAC prompts the error message: "This application requires administrator/root permission to function"

Issue

When I open Remote Access Client (RAC) v1.0.13 by clicking on its shortcut, it prompts an error message: "This application requires administrator/root permission to function". The shortcut on the Start Menu doesn't have the Run as Administrator option. Running the desktop shortcut instead as admin yeilds the same error message.

When you attempt to connect to a gateway, it prompts another error message : "Error: Access is Denied". Ignoring the error, it would appear in the GUI that you're connected to the gateway but you cannot reach it and no WireGuard tunnel interface gets created.

It promts the same error message again when you click on the Disconnect button. And when you click on the Reset Connections button, it would prompt yet another error message: "bad request. Could not delete extclient [name] [name]".

Resolution/Workaround:
1. close any currently running RAC instance

2. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Netmaker Remote Access Client" folder and run the application file "Netmaker Remote Client.exe" as Administrator.
