Issue

I'm unable to use the Remote Access Client (RAC) on Windows Server due to an error that mentions OpenGL. My use case makes me want to favor RAC over Netclient on this occassion.

Resolution

RAC requires OpenGL to run. If your server has a video card, just install its driver. If you're running a VM on Windows as host, enable hardware acceleration. Otherwise, that is if your server has no video card (VM or bare metal), install Mesa3D.

The Mesa 3D Graphics Library, is an open source implementation of OpenGL, Vulkan, and other graphics API specifications. You can download an already compiled distribution of the Mesa3D sources at https://github.com/pal1000/mesa-dist-win/releases. Once downloaded, simply extract the archive and run the 'systemwidedeploy' script. Then enter option 1 to deploy core desktop OpenGL drivers.
